Our volunteers are equipped with a broad range of skills.

We value our volunteers' energy and contributions, many of whom find their calling in care. They bring diverse skills, connect with residents, and make a real impact. Whether through work experience, award schemes, or professional development, all share a passion for helping others.

We offer a range of volunteering opportunities and look to match skills and talents with the requests of our residents such as:

  • Musical entertainment
  • Arts and Crafts activities
  • Leading book clubs / reading groups
  • Befriending, e.g. simply having a chat with a resident
  • Gardening
  • Accompanying residents on outings, e.g. to the theatre or shopping
  • Office tasks, e.g. filing, data input, reception, etc.
